The Vote
We would like to thank the voters of the Bedford community for the continued support of our schools. Your approval of the resources needed to support teaching and learning is greatly appreciated and we will continue to do our best by your sons and daughters.  Thank you.

Student Walk Out
I want to report to you how proud we are of every student at BHS!  On March 14th, every student at BHS made a thoughtful decision regarding how they wanted to participate in the national student movement to walk out in support of the victims of the Parkland shooting.  Some students chose to walk outside (to the circular drive in front), some students chose to assemble in the gymnasium, and other students decided staying in class was the best decision to honor victims.  Although the substantial portion of the walk out focussed on honoring the victims, a consistent message that resonated among all speakers was students feeling unsafe in their school and their desire for the adults to join together to make schools safer.   After 17 minutes students quietly re-entered classrooms and school continued.

New Hampshire State Assessment Testing
JUNIORS- State testing will be made up of the SAT (pencil + paper) and the SAS (online) this year. The state mandated date to administer the SAT is on Wednesday, March 21st. Since the test should conclude around 1:30 pm, students will not be required to attend 4th block. There is no fee for this exam. The SAS (science assessment) is a shorter exam and will take place the following day on Thursday, March 22nd. Please note that any student with approved testing accommodations will have a unique schedule which will be communicated to he or she individually. Students do not need to register with the CollegeBoard to take the SAT as this is done though the NH DOE. Also students will be taking the essay portion.  Parents wishing to have their son or daughter “opt-out” of the exam must complete the Opt-out form Opt-Out Form and send via email or hard copy to Principal Hagen  hagenw@sau25.net
