WISHING ALL OF OUR FAMILIES A WONDERFUL (AND WARM) SPRING BREAK!
National History Day
On April 7th, members from National History Day represented BHS at Plymouth State University in a statewide competition. Many of these students have worked tirelessly since the summer creating engaging websites, exhibits, papers and even group performances that presented their rich analysis of original research topics. BHS is proud of the senior group website (Fighting for Freedom: The South African Struggle Against Apartheid), senior group performance (Demystifying the Dangers Of Lead: Clair Patterson's Role in Compromising a Worldwide Poison) and senior group exhibit (Conflict and Compromise Surrounding The Marshall Plan) will all be heading to Washington, D.C. to represent BHS at the National Contest. Congratulations and Good Luck!

The students from France will be hosted in the fall of 2018 in Bedford and the BHS students will stay with the same family in the spring of 2019 during Intersession. For families that would only like to host, the group from France often needs additional host homes.
If you would like to only host a French student in the fall or are interested in participating in the reciprocal exchange, please email the Global Coordinator, Laura Chenette at chenettel@sau25.net with your student’s name to confirm you space. For more information please see our French Exchange website.

2018-19 School Calendar
The School Board has approved the 2018-19 School Calendar. Please note that there is a substantial change for 2018-19. The district will shift from tracking days to tracking hours. As a result, the last day of school for 2018-19 will be no later than June 13 and could be as early as June 6. The first five snow days, if needed, will be made up by students at the end of the year. Any snow days beyond five days will not need to be made up by students. This should bring some more predictability to the end of the year for families.
Gsuite Information for Parents
Some of our parents have asked for an explanation of our Gsuite, the tools within Chrome our students now use for much of their school work. Our technology
teachers have developed this Gsuite Information for Parents.
For parents/guardians who are interested in seeing the work of their child, just ask your son/daughter to log in with their account or provide you with their password to showcase the work completed.
